It’s nice when Righteous Dressings get featured in press articles and magazines but there’s something so much more gratifying when we’re mentioned by bloggers. Perhaps it’s because these are real people that have no commercial motives and therefore have no trouble giving their honest-to-goodness opinions.
Some time back, Foodepedia gave us a friendly thumbs up, saying: “…Righteous are all right, a range of dressings that aren’t pumped full of fats and sugars… Nice and thick they cling to your salad leaves so that you get a tasty forkful every time.”
And shortly after that…
Jenny Tucker of SoFeminine.co.uk, joked about Righteous dressings being good enough for you to pretend they were homemade: “Just the other day, Charles, my ever-smiling postman, knocked on the door with a parcel for me. Inside was three bottles of Righteous All Natural Salad Dressing. I tried the Ginger & Toasted Sesame that night, drizzling it over strips of cucumber, cold glass noodles, papaya and dried shrimp. My husband was extremely appreciative, and asked where I got the recipe? “Oh, just something I knocked together,” I answered, turning to look at my neighbours lupins over the garden fence.”
Then there are the Vegetarian & Vegan blogs… These particularly make our day because we know that we’ve been given the nod of approval from a very discerning group of foodies…
Sasha of ToHappyVegans.com writes “One of my food phases at the moment is tofu salad wraps. So much so it became one of those lunches, you know the ones that you can happily eat EVERYDAY. Well if the Ginger and Toasted Sesame Seed dressing didn’t take a great lunch and make it awesome then my name isn’t Sasha. … I love the toasted sesame seed flavour so much that I could drink it.”
Cathy of PlanetVeggie.co.uk was a little perturbed that Righteous was not low calorie, but quickly realised that our dressings were so bursting with flavour that she didn’t need to drench her salad as usual, only to dress it: “I love salad dressing but as I love to drown my food in sauces and dressings, I usually choose a low calorie one. The problem with this is that they don’t usually taste of much, so when I got sent some Righteous All Natural Salad Dressing to try, I was a bit perturbed on reading the label that it contains 66 calories per 15ml… Today with my lunch of salad leaves, red pepper, feta cheese, sweet corn, kalamata olives, cucumber and tomato… I tried out the Ginger & Toasted Sesame Dressing and keeping in mind the 66 calories per 15ml thing, I didn’t pour half the bottle over my salad. I realised I didn’t need any more than 15ml as it was delicious and I’m looking forward to lunch tomorrow!”
We’re so glad that real people love our products and promise we’ll be working doubly hard to make sure we keep those smiles on your faces (and those lovely blog mentions coming in!)
