Making it to Supermarket Shelves
This past summer was an incredibly significant one for Righteous – because it was the first time we made a jump from specialty food stores to supermarket shelves! It was a huge decision on our part as not only did this take a lot of time and effort, but as Theo Paphitis of Dragon’s Den says “much of my child’s inheritance” as well!
But I felt that this was an important step, if I wanted to stay true to our vision: that great tasting, all natural food should be available to everybody everywhere, and not at a premium price. So we did what we could to cleverly cut any company costs to keep our products at a price people could afford, without compromising any of the top quality ingredients that go in the product! And did what we could to scrape enough money together to fund all the necessary supermarket promotions to get people to notice the products.
So hopefully all works out in the end! …We’re keeping our fingers and toes crossed that it does!
